This examination entails of checking our customers’ vision at a certain distance: for far and near as needed. From this examination, we are able to determine your prescription, as well as provide appropriate advice accordingly on the need for spectacles or contact lenses to correct your vision for both at far and near.

Contact Lens Fitting and Aftercare Service

Here at City Eyehub, we offer a wide variety of soft and hard contact lenses to suit your daily needs. Coloured and clear soft contact lenses, be it daily or monthly disposable, conventional soft, semi-gas permeable, Ortho-K (Orthokeratology) and Rose K lenses are available as well.

Ortho-K lenses provide clear vision during the day without having to wear contact lenses or spectacles throughout the day. Moreover, it aids in slowing down the progression of myopia.

Rose K lenses, on the other hand, is suitable for those with atypical corneal shapes for keratoconic patients.

We teach new contact lens wearers the Dos and Don’ts of contact lens wear during out consultations for contact lens fittings. We also teach them how to safely insert and remove the lenses from their eyes. We manage our customers’ expectations by providing aftercare services to monitor their eye conditions and make any necessary adjustments if required.

Fundus examination

To ensure there are no anomalities, a retinal image - a picture of the back of the eye- will be taken. We are able to connect any potential medical issues, such as diabetes, to the symptoms we observe in the back of the eye through this examination.

We can also recognise the early stages of eye problems and provide advice accordingly based on our findings.

Intra ocular pressure check

We can assess a customers’ risk of glaucoma by performing an intraocular pressure (IOP) examination to measure the pressure within the eye. An abnormal increase in IOP arises when the fluid in the eye is unable to drain effectively, which can lead to glaucoma.
